Obituary of Gladys B. Giannetti

Endicott - Gladys B. Giannetti, 85, of Endicott, NY passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loving family on Wednesday February 23, 2022. Gladys was predeceased by her loving husband and soulmate Joseph Giannetti, her parents, Ezra and Leah Bunt; brothers Alvin Bunt, Lyman Bunt and Ezra Bunt; sisters Ruth Cornell, Leah Springer, Jenny Lee and Gertrude Oliver. She is survived by her sister Nora Smith, her sisters-in-law Beverly Giannetti and Helen Bunt. Gladys is also survived by her five children Joyce Beriman, Jean (Ernest) Scott, Joseph (Leisa) Giannetti, Barbara Cochran (Donald McKane) and Joanne (Thomas) Frantz; nine grandchildren, Jackie (Chance) Butts, Ernest Scott, Heather Beriman, Angela Beriman, Amber (Nicholas) Barrett, Brittany Cochran, Janielle Frantz, Angel Keppler and Luke Darrow; 8 great-grandchildren Kelsey Terrell, Kayla Butts, Landon Barrett, Sophia Barrett, Jayden Cochran, Liliana Luckie, Jahi Luckie, Ian Farro and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Endicott, NY Lodge 1065 where she played in many shuffleboard tournaments. Gladys worked briefly at Ideal Hospital in Endicott prior to getting married and starting a family. She loved to cook & bake for the holidays and family gatherings, square dancing, the polka, playing rummy and listening to country music. The family would like to thank Lourdes Hospice, Dr. Mehta, Dr. Florini and Dr. Jayaraman. A funeral service will be held on Monday February 28, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 East Main St., Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery, Endicott.
