Obituary of Cody J. Brown

On March 18, 2022 Cody James Brown passed away unexpectedly at the age of 34 years old. Cody was born October 30, 1987 in Wilson Hospital, NY to Jamie L. Steen and Robert R. Brown. Cody was much loved by those who knew him. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for you if you needed something. His laugh was contagious and he had a way of bringing a smile to your face. He always looked at the brighter side of life. Cody worked for F.S. Lopke as an equipment operator at Birchirdville Quarry. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. His father Robert R. Brown/Step Mother Sue of Little Meadows PA, mother Jamie L. Steen/dear friend and rock, Michel Jean of Apalachin, NY and Cody's son, Draven R. Brown. Cody's sibling are Melinda C. Brown/Jason Traver of Chenango Bridge, Roger M. Cole/Joanna of Nichols, Daniel M. Cole of Nichols, NY. His step siblings include Walter Yetter, Michael Buck, Heidi Jeralds and Robert Brown. Cody is survived by his grandfather Roger L. Steen "Poppy" and his grandmother Marilyn Miller and a very special Aunt Dixie Russel. Cody also had many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral and Interment Services will be held at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, LLC 6519 St Rt 434 Apalachin, NY on Thursday, March 24th. Calling hours will begin at 10:00 AM to 12:00 and the service will begin at 12:00 Friends and family are welcomed. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
