I was sorry to hear of the illness and passing of my friend Smitty. We met at age 5, and went all through school together. We both loved sports, and played pickup basketball games in his driveway. As teenagers, we gleefully disrupted the lives of lovers above Smitty’s house on Roundtop!
Although separated by my moving to CA sixty years ago, we enjoyed dinner and catching up during my annual return to NY.
When I recall his name, I recall his great humor!
