Obituary of Florence E. Avery

Glen Aubrey- Florence E. Avery "Backus", 63, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 20th, 2022. She was predeased by her parents; Vern F. Backus, Sr., and Beatrice B. Backus, and two sisters. She is survived by her loving husband Mark S. Avery Sr. of 44 years, her children; Chad E. Jackson, Mark S. Avery Jr., Annie L. Pagan, John F. Avery, Joshua M. Avery as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, brothers and sister. Florence was a bright, loving soul who loved her family with all she had. She loved to ride with her husband on his motorcycle, and playing all kinds of games with family and friends. She loved gatherings, music, karaoke and shopping. She was the life of a party. Anyone that came into her life made a connection to her. She was one of a kind; a very strong person who fought a long battle that she truly didn't fight daily. She will be missed by many, but never forgotten. Funeral services will be held at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main Street Endicott, NY on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Calling hours are from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 5 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, LLC 300 E. Main St., Endicott, NY 13760 to assist with final funeral expenses.
