Obituary of Andrea Mae Shimer

Andrea Mae Shimer, 40, of Vestal, died unexpectedly on May 21, 2022. She is survived by her parents, Dennis Shimer (Kay), and Jeanne Nuzzo (William), her brothers, Travis Shimer and Scott Shimer (Megan), her niece, Sydney, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Andrea was a bright beautiful girl who graduated from Vestal High School and went on to get her Masters Degree from the University at Albany. Andrea is loved dearly and will be sorely missed by her family. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. In sympathy, donations can be made to the Broome County Humane Society in memory of Andrea.
