Obituary of Deborah L Wood

Deborah Lee Wood of Romulus, NY Deborah Lee Wood, 60, formerly of Vestal, left us unexpectedly December 14, 2009 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Selma and Jack Wood; and her brother-in-law, Daniel Pezzuti. She is survived by her two sisters and brother-in-law, Jackie Pezzuti, Rebecca and Roger Butler; her nieces, Rachel Gennett, Danielle Pezzuti, LeighAnn Pezzuti; her nephews, Jack and Roger Butler; her grandnephew, Vincent Gennett; a dear friend, Richard Prentice; as well as her many cousins, friends and neighbors whom she loved. She is also survived by her two special friends, Boswell and Percy. She was a retired employee of IBM Endicott with over 30 years of service and was an active member in her community. She loved her life on the lake. She was kind and generous and would do anything for anybody. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. A Memorial service will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal. Burial will be in Vestal Park Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 East River Rd., Waterloo, NY 13165.
