Obituary of Rosemary N. Donahue

To celebrate the life of Rosemary Donahue Rosemary Natalie Donahue passed away on 7/14/20 under hospice care on Hilton Head Island NHC. Loving care was provided by Father Pedro whom my mother loved and the beautiful Latin community. After the death of her beloved husband and my angel father Jerry Donahue at the request of her daughter she moved to be with her only child Deborah McGann in South Carolina. Deborah purchased the home to provide a place for my parents to enjoy life. My father nor my bother ever lived or visited the home. Life taken too soon! My only brother Mark and only son to my parents died on February 7th 1999. Mark served as a special agent for the FBI. The fall of the Iron Curtain the FBI Director assigned Mark to help maintain order Internationally in Budapest Hungary, Praque in the Czech Republic and the Balkans. After serving abroad he was transferred to the Albuquerque office to the Reactive Squad to fight violent crime. Shortly after arriving home, he began to experience severe pulmonary complications. He died in his home in New Mexico after several medical procedures to determine the cause. We all suffered the loss. We were blessed to have a beautiful wife Wendy Hirst my bothers ex-wife to provide strength and love to our family. My brother had two great strong daughters TWINS Emily Lallouz now residing in California with her husband Jonathan and son James. Annie Murnane who resides in NY with her husband Billy. I, Deborah McGann, still reside in South Carolina. I have been very blessed to have two loving daughters both successful, caring doctors. I have also been blessed with four precious grandchildren. Alexandra Adams Daughter married to Scott Adams and two grandchildren Beatrice age 6 and Maxwell age they reside in Pittsford NY. Lindsay Urbinelli married to Leo loving doctor also. Grandchildren Madelyn age 4 and Juliette to be two on my birthday 9/28 and my mother's birthday. PS my cousin Collins birthday. I wish to thank the support of my cousins, Michon Stuart, Elaine wife and successful daughter, Marrisa. My cousin Collin Stuart for helping me laugh after floods private joke. Becky Stuart and Andy. My uncle Michael Gance still resides in the Tri City area and has been a loving brother to my mother. My Aunt Ellen and cousins all reside in the same neighborhood and provided joy to my mother. My best friends that are here today providing support and love Barbara Briggs and Sherry Neylon. My mom was a very strong woman who raised strong children with love and compassion. She had the gift to bring smiles to face with her energy and antics. She loved her church and worked as a TRAVEL AGENT organizing numerous trips abroad. She was loved by so many and loved by the Catholic Church here St. GREGORY especially the Latin Mass at one on Sundays. She will be remembered by all for her smile and energy even into her nineties.
