Obituary of Judith A. Phelps

Judy Phelps, 79, formerly of South Glens Falls, NY, was called home by her Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from her Endwell home, after a brief illness. Judy was born 11/24/1942 in Ticonderoga, NY, and was the daughter of Gilbert Bacon and Anna Mae (Barber) (Bacon) Glezen, and step father Reginald Glezen. Besides her parents, Judy is predeceased by her ex-husband Robert L. Phelps, her brother and sister-in-law Doug and Debbie Bacon, her Aunt Florence "Sissy" Green, and Uncle Vernon Green, and cousins James and Kathy Green, her Uncle Bud (Dolly) Barber of Ticonderoga, and Aunt Cecile Hartman. Judy is survived by her daughters Deborah Phelps, (Joseph Longo), of Endicott, NY, and Cheryl and Trey Worthy, of Meridianville, Al. as well as numerous cousins, grand nieces and nephews. Judy was a Pharmacist for over 40 years, who worked hard, saved money, and provided for her family. She was an avid animal lover and a definite "dog person", who rescued numerous furry friends during her lifetime. Her absolute favorite moments were spent with her Aunt Sissy, and brother Doug, aboard her fishing boat trolling for lake trout on Lake George. She was strong and adventurous, and taught her daughters to be the same. Following Judy's wishes, there will be no funeral service, but family and friends may celebrate her life by making a donation to the Humane Society, or local animal shelter/rescue in her name.
