I knew Jim since the early 70s. He was my neighbor in Union Center in the trailer park. He drove a yellow Nova back then. He was a very nice person. Once I couldn't get my motorcycle started and he came over and offered to kickstart it for me. After kicking it over 25 times myself I was mad at the world. I told him if I couldn't start it, he sure couldn't. He reminded me of that over the years. Seen him over the years at the Maine Federated Church. Visited him once at Castle Gardens and we did the polka together in the dining hall. Was worried about his heart, but he finished, very winded I might say. He was worth his heart of gold.
