Obituary of Caroline A. Zibuck
Caroline (Dusak) Zibuck, 101, went to be with the Lord, Saturday September 3, 2022. She was predeceased by two sisters, Annastacia (Esther) Ganim, Katherine McGovern and two brothers John Dusak and Anthony Dusak. She was predeceased by her former husband Stanley Zibuck and son-in-law Steven Boettger. She is survived by 3 daughters and one son, Diane Boettger, Endicott, NY, Marcia and Brian Lorraine, Endicott, NY, Sylvia Zibuck, Syracuse, NY, and Andrew and Susan Zibuck, Rochester, NY. She had 3 grandchildren and one great granddaughter Andrew Zibuck, her namesake Karolina Zibuck of Rochester, NY, Brian Boettger and Dr. Charity Fox, Mechanicsburg, PA, and Elizabeth Boettger, Mechanicsburg, PA. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Caroline grew up in Binghamton, NY attending Woodrow Wilson School until 8th grade. A lifelong learner, she read all sorts of books and magazines. She loved to crochet and made each of her children afghans. She was a caregiver, looking after her Mom, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She worked in various jobs before marriage and stayed home to raise her children. In her later years she worked at Sheltered Workshop and Binghamton Knitting Company. She lived with her daughter Marcia since 2000 spending the last month at Absolut Care Center, Endicott, NY. Many thanks to the staff for their compassionate care. There will be a private service on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott, NY. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY.
