Douglas R. Tingley Obituary
Douglas Robert Tingley, age 43, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022. Doug was predeceased by his father, Joe Tingley, maternal grandparents, Patricia and Douglas L. Grant, Jr., paternal grandparents, Mary and Bob Tingley, and uncle, Douglas L. Grant, III. He is survived by his mother, Sally Tingley, his son, Kaiden Tingley, his sister and brother-in-law Gina and Michael Marsh, nephews Jacob and Vincent Marsh, Aunt Debbie Sanders, cousin, Brandon Sanders, Aunt Pat Babcock, cousins Donna Depersis and family, Mike Goon and Becky and family and Chris Babcock and family. Doug attended U-E High School where he was on the bowling team and had two 300 games. He also attended the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont. He worked as a chef at several restaurants throughout his career. Doug had twinkly eyes, an engaging smile and a witty sense of humor. He will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main Street, Endicott, New York with Reverend Phil Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, September 16, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Owego, New York. Memorial contributions may be made in Doug Tingley's Memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
