Obituary of Stanley L. Payne

Stanley L. Payne, 90, of Apalachin, entered into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. He was Predeceased by his son, James Payne, parents, Stanley and Helen Payne, and five brothers. Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Gladys Payne, his children; Rodney and Christine Payne, Connie and Gary Fargnoli, Chet and Marcelino Payne, grandchildren; Dustin and Christina and their children, Bree and Blake; Jonathan and Melissa and their children, Connor, Jake and Gabe; Chrissy and Ben Barnes and their children, Annabelle and Elliott; Marybeth and Adam Smith and their children, Preston, Parker and Wyatt; Erin and Greg Pforter and their children, Logan, Trevor and Merrick, his sister, Donna Hunt, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Stanley spent 4 years in the US Navy. He started his own construction company in 1966. He was extremely hard working, continuing to operate his equipment after retirement. He enjoyed traveling in his camper with his family. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 25, at 2 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
