Obituary of Francis Anthony Casey

The world became a better place when Francis (Frank) Anthony Casey was born on August 31, 1958 and heaven gained an angel on October 8, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Frank (or 'Frankie Baby' to his closest circle) was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His granddaughter, Leigha was the light of his life. Frank was a lover of nature. Ask anyone in the town of Maine who had the biggest peonies, tulips, corn and squash – the answer would be Frank. Similarly, ask who is the master of chickens, caller of Cardinals and fan of his John Deere tractor, again the answer would be Frank. A lover of the Maine coast, Lobster, hiking and camping, Frank lived life to the fullest. If anyone were to report a downfall, it was his support of the Yankees (given his Red Sox loving family). The world will miss him greatly. Frank is survived by his adoring wife – Karen, son – Kerrie, child – Alex, granddaughter – Leigha. Additional surviving family include siblings: Harold (Carolyn), Henry (Margaret), John (Rebecca), James (Tracey), and Cathleen (Meshell). As well as mother-in-law – Becky, sister-in-law – Kristen, and brother-in-law – Todd (Lindsay) and several nieces and nephews. Frank is predeceased by father Harold, mother Carolyn and brother Steve. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Lourdes Hospice, who provided exemplary care to Frank. A Funeral Mass will offered on Wednesday October 12, 2022 at Most Holy Rosary Church, Maine, NY at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, NY on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
