Obituary of Mary Ann Novitske

Mary Ann Novitske, of Johnson City, NY, passed away peacefully, after a battle with cancer, on October 12, 2022 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by her husband, John; parents, Gene Bravi & Eva Sobiech; grandson, Luca; brother, Robert "Bobby" Sobiech. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Carrissa) Novitske; grandsons, Isaiah & Elias; brothers, Steve (Renee) Sobiech & Joe (Ella) Sobiech; her four legged buddy, Winston; many nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends. Mary Ann worked at Opportunities for Broome for 38 years, as a Family & Community Partnership Coordinator. She received the Cindy Chaplin Humanitarian Award for her outstanding commitment and service to the children and youth of Broome County. May Ann was loved by everyone that met her and she lived her life caring for and helping others. She would do anything for anyone and always wanted to help anyway she could. She had an infectious laugh that will be greatly missed and a smile that could light up a whole room. Mary Ann was the happiest when she was able to spend time with her family, friends, and especially her grandbabies. She will be missed by many, especially her grandsons and her daughter, they were her world. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m.
