Obituary of Robert G. Fiori

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, Robert Gerald Fiori, known by many as Jr. He passed away peacefully at the age of 67, on December 11, 2022, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Our dad enjoyed time spent with his family and his grandkids, and was always cracking a joke. Although he portrayed a tough exterior, he was a big teddy bear with a heart of gold. He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Valerie Fiori, his children, Amy (Sean) Harrington, Nicole Moreno, and Bethanie (Ryan) Fiori, as well as his grandchildren, Aubrey, Mackenzie, Lucas, Reagan, Dallas, Kade, Kamron, Alaina and great-grandson, Anthony. He is also survived by his sisters, Marie (Carl) Dollmetsch, Kristine (Christopher) McKinney, Brenda (Ed) Clapper, and Gina (Ted) Fiori-Foote as well as many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends. He will finally get to be at peace in Heaven alongside his parents, Robert and Sylvia, and little sister, Patricia. Robert was an alumni of Union Endicott CSD. He worked hard all of his life and was proud to say that he worked at EJ Shoe Factory, just as many of his family members did, and was employed at Union Endicott CSD for 39 years until he retired last December. He always did his job with great pride and care. Robert also enjoyed many years volunteering with the Campville Fire Department and Tioga County Search and Rescue because he loved helping people no matter their need. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation to the Campville Fire Department and to the Wilson Emergency Department for their wonderful care of him. Donations may be made in his name to the Campville Fire Department or to the American Cancer Society. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, December 20th from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home on Main Street in Endicott. Immediately following the calling hours, family will hold a Celebration of Life in Robert's memory at the Campville Fire Station 1, on Route 17c in Campville from 6:30pm-8:00pm
