Obituary of Dorothy H. Emnett

Dorothy H. Emnett of Johnson City Dorothy H. Emnett, 98, died peacefully at the United Methodist Homes, Hilltop Campus on January 1, 2010. She was born in a log cabin on September 18, 1911 in Dudley, MO. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Walter L. Emnett, Sr., and her daughter-in-law, Deborah. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Lee and Barbara Emnett, Conroe, TX, Thomas and Carol Emnett, Apalachin, NY, Constance and Patrick Arno, Topeka, KS, and Edward Emnett, Ithaca, NY; eight grandchildren, David Arno, Jennifer (David) Fisher, Keith (Karen) Emnett, Kristine (Billy) Gould, Juliet (Jeff) Stoke, Katherine (Adam) Hillis, Timothy Emnett, and Elizabeth Emnett; eight great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Theresa Emnett of St. Louis, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. Marek Gawel, and all of the staff at the United Methodist Homes, Hilltop Campus for all their help and care they provided. Funeral arrangements will be at the family's convenience at a later date. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the United Methodist Homes, Hilltop Campus.
