After I joined the family Grace & I became the makers of Medaljer at Christmas time. Two butter cookies separated by vanilla custard. The top cookie had vanilla icing with a dollop of current jelly. We would spend time on the 23rd or 24th making them. It was tricky to get the custard filling correct without using a thermometer - but we always managed. The cookies were also very brittle so it was tough to keep them whole and get them iced. This is one way Grace welcomed me to the family.

We have known Grace since 1976 and we have always shared very good times in her company. She will always be in our thouhts and hearts now that she's gone to find her husband Bob and her son Nils. Love to all the family Daniele, Pierre and all family from France
