Obituary of Francis Koprivnikar

Francis Koprivnikar, age 90, of Vestal, New York, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023. He is preceded by his parents; Joseph and Elizabeth, His wife; Jean, and brothers; Joseph, Albert, and Raymond. He is survived by his sister, Rita (Fred) Holler; daughters, Janet (Christopher) Bogart and Suzanne (Thomas) Thompson; grandchildren, Stephen (Anne), James, Thomas (Courtney), and Michael Bogart, Julia (Scott) Johnson, and Danielle Herman; and great grandchildren, Allison and Olivia Johnson, and Francis Bogart. Francis was born in Harwick, PA. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, served in the U.S. Army, and retired from IBM. He always put his family first. He will be remembered as an exceptional father, grandfather, and great grandfather. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, February 28, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
