Obituary of Paul D. Brink
Paul David (Skip) Brink, born June 25, 1946 passed away on April 19, 2023 at the age of 76.
He is predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth (William) Beardsley and Wilbur (Enna) Brink; brothers, Richard and Charles Brink; daughter, Tia Brink; nephew, Corky Brink; and sister- in- law, Barbara Beard.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie McCornack Brink; granddaughter, Serafina Brink- Andres; brothers, Jon Beardsley, Micheal (Melissa) Brink, brother-in -law, William Beard, the son he wanted but never had, Mike (Kelly) Simpson; the group at The Topper; family who tended to him near the end, Tracy, Nefatia and Jacklene; and his spoiled dog, Lucky.
Skip attended both Santaria and Union-Endicott schools. He enlisted in the Marine Corp and served, in combat, in Vietnam from 1965 to 1967.
After his service, he worked at GAF as an Operating Engineer through the various morphs until as Anita's/Kodak's closing in 2020. As an adult, Skip attended Broome-Tioga BOCES and became licensed to fly a single small engine plane.
He loved nature and participated in many seasonal outdoor activities including, camping, hunting, fishing, golfing, motorcycling, swimming and getting into trouble with his brothers, nephew and Mike. When healthy, former work friends gathered monthly for breakfast to stay current on each person's news.
