Obituary of Judith A Springer

Judith A. Springer (Gabriel), 73, of Endwell, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 21, 2023. She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Eugene Gabriel, her daughter, Vickie Gabriel, 2nd husband, Dan Springer, and her parents Anne and Nathan Shiffman. She is survived by her children; Lisa Gabriel, Karen (Neil) Varma, Steven (Jackie MacBlane) Gabriel, and Marybeth (Matthew) Lascari, grandchildren; Carley Gabriel, Jason and Rick Chastine and their mother Jeanette Gabriel, Bradley Varma, her companion, Patrick Ruffo, several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends, and her dog Parker. Judy was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Endicott. She had a smile and laugh that lit up the room, always taking pride in her appearance, dress and style. She cherished time spent with her family and loved watching her grandchildren grow. Judy was warm and loving, and had a special place in her heart for animals, spoiling her dogs and grand dogs often feeding them right from her hand. She was one of a kind, and the matriarch and strength of the Gabriel family. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Joseph's Church, Endicott, on Thursday April 27, 2023 at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott, on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Judy can be made to the Broome County Humane Society.
