Obituary of Todd Forkey
Todd James Forkey, 56, of Endicott, passed away April 21 in the comfort and love of hospice and family. Todd was predeceased by his mother, Sandi Luciani. He is survived by his loving wife Ann, his father, Larry (Becky) Forkey, brother Brent (Melissa, special nieces MacKenzie and Karlie) Forkey, stepdad Ralph Luciani, stepsister Tina Scott and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Todd grew up in and attended Vestal schools, graduating from the Evergreen program. He participated in scouting and youth activities and enjoyed being part of the "cul de sac kids" who enjoyed a community neighborhood like no other. He loved listening to music, enjoyed playing guitar, loved animals and was a passionate NY Yankees fan.
Todd was employed as a service technician for Kost Tire, worked as an independent contractor and for Robert .J. Connelly, where he acquired his sense for flea market "collectibles," and that "everything has a value to someone."
He fought a lengthy, courageous battle with pancreatic cancer and never gave up hope he would overcome. His determination, sense of humor and compassion for others remained until the very end. The family would like to thank Upstate Medical Center, Lourdes, and UHS for their compassionate care and most of all to Ann, Todd's devoted wife and love of 20 years who provided unwavering love and care for him.
The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main Street, Endicott from 3 to 4 pm on Saturday April 29, 2023. A celebration of Todd's life will be held later at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations in Todd's memory may be made to the Animal Care Council, 131 Washington Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
