Obituary of Mary Edwards

Mary Calesta Edwards of Apalachin .Mary Calesta Edwards of Apalachin went to be with her Lord on Monday, January 18, 2010. She was born January 16, 1923. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Owego. Mary was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Robert Edwards; her sister, Ann Porter; and brothers, Lee Bryant and Gerald Bryant. She is survived by her son, Thomas Bryant Edwards and wife, Helen of Apalachin; and daughter, JoAnn Bryant of Ramona, CA; her grandchildren, Bryant Kuhrt and wife, Jessica and great-grandson, Kaden; Jonathan Edwards and wife, Jennifer; Tara Petrozello and husband, Ryan; Kirsten Reynolds and husband, Randy and great-grandchildren, Cody, Michael and Esther. She is also survived by her sisters, Eleanor Howard of Owego, Katherine Babcock of Johnson City; brothers, Edwin Bryant and wife, Jan, Thomas Bryant and wife, Joyce; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Edwards of Johnson City and Lucy Edwards of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. She was a retired tele-typist for Sears. She loved her Lord, her family and her church. Her passing will leave a huge void in the lives of all who loved her. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday at the Coleman and Daniel's Funeral Home, Rt. 434, Apalachin. Rev. G. Terry Steenburg of First Baptist Church of Owego will officiate.
