Harry E. VanLuvanee of Endicott
Harry E. VanLuvanee, 86, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord Monday January 18, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce of Endicott; his children and their spouses, Donald and Lynn VanLuvanee, Tigard, OR, Carol and Joseph Kanabroski, Florence KY, James and Darlene VanLuvanee, Tigard, OR; grandchildren, Ken VanLuvanee, Schwenksville, PA, Daryl VanLuvanee, Portland, OR, Denise Jacobs, Ellicott City, MD, Daniel Kanabroski, Louisville, KY; six great grandchildren; brother, Allan VanLuvanee, Vestal; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Martha Skillen, Lady Lake, FL; several nieces and nephews. He was a retired employee of IBM-Glendale with 35 Years of service. Veteran of WWII serving in the US Army, A member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Endicott and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating.
Funeral and Interment Services will be held Friday at 7:00PM from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc., 300 East Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Brown Naik, pastor of his Church will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery in the spring. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Friday from 5 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790.
