Obituary of Jack K. Dalton II

Jack K. Dalton II, age 80 years young, soul was ushered to heaven by angels on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was a gift from God to William J. Dalton and LeeElla Canfield Dalton on April 30, 1943. He was a 1960 graduate of Union Endicott High School and 1962 graduate of Morrisville College. He married the love of his life Roberta J. Slusser on November 7, 1965, they were married for 51 years. She was awaiting his arrival in Heaven. Prior to getting married Jack joined the Army and served in the Vietnam War and received an Honorable Discharge. Since childhood he attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Jack is survived by three children; Ginger Dalton-Wrenn (Jimmie), Jack K. Dalton III, and Richard J. Dalton. Seven grandchildren; Lucas Dalton, Nicolie Dalton, Joseph Dalton, Becca Wrenn Gill (Taylor), Hailey Dalton, Jammie Wrenn, Leiah Dalton and four great-grandchildren; Myah Locke, Everett Locke, Kinsley Lane Gill, and Violet Anne VanOstrand. Jack spent most his life being an automotive mechanic and a surveyor for construction. Upon retiring he was a member of the Endicott Police Auxiliary. Jack enjoyed spending time traveling, tinkering in the garage, riding his Harley Davidson, eating ice cream, and taking care of his four-legged companions Harley and Zack. A graveside memorial will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
