Obituary of Christine (Gaffney) Koban

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Christine (Gaffney) Koban on May 26th, 2023. Christine passed peacefully at home, with her family by her side. She was predeceased by both maternal and paternal grandparents, and father, Robert. Christine is survived by her husband of 34 years, Michael, daughters Kortney and Kaitlyn, and her favorite grandson, Jordan; mother, Jane, sister Kim (Lee), and brother Tom. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Christine will also be missed dearly by her sweet pups; Rooney, Abbey and Bailey. Christine always had a kind word to share and a contagious smile, ready to drop everything to help someone in need. We will miss her unconditional love and unwavering support. Per her request no formal service will be held. A memorial page has been created for those that would like to share memories of Christine and condolences to the family, Celebrating the Life of Christine Koban. A celebration of life will be held later this summer. In honor of Chris spend some time with your family and friends, read a good book, pet a pup, work in your garden, and give someone you love a BIG hug.
