Obituary of Gerald E. Grannis

Gerald E. "Porky" Grannis of Fayetteville formerly of Vestal Center Gerald E. "Porky" Grannis, 73, of Fayetteville, and formerly of Vestal Center, died Saturday, January 23, 2010, at the East Side Manor in Fayetteville, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Marion Grannis; and brother, Harold Grannis. Survivors include brothers, Ken (Margaret) Grannis of Port Crane, Alan (Linda) Grannis of Kirkwood, Gene (Linda) Grannis of Virginia; and sister, Carol (Gregg) Schiendler of North Carolina; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Gerry was a retired Endicott Johnson employee, he played football for the Vestal Bears and was an honorable veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Services for Gerry with Full Military Honors will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. from The Tower of Memories Chapel at Vestal Hills Memorial Park, 3997 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY.
