Obituary of Kyrle C Isenburg Jr

Kyrle C. (Mike) Isenburg, 86, of Endicott, died at Willow Point Nursing Center on Thursday July 20,2023 after an extended illness. Kyrle was predeceased by wife, Patricia Isenburg; sons, Michael Isenburg, Kevin Isenburg; his parents, Kyrle and Anne Isenburg and his sister, Patricia Matys. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Cheryl Isenburg Endicott NY, daughter-in law Mary Isenburg, Winston-Salem NC, grand children Sierra Isenburg Endicott NY, Sophia Isenburg Endicott NY, Dr. Maureen and Daniel Shuma, Citrus Heights California, Michael Isenburg New York City and great-granddaughter Olivia Shuma Citrus Heights California, as well as several nieces and nephews. Mike was a graduate of Union Endicott High School, Massanutten Military Academy Woodstock Virginia and attended the College of William and Mary Williamsburg Virginia. He worked for Marine Midland Bank. After banking he worked for many years in sales. Mike eventually retired after a career in quality control at National Pipe and Plastics, Vestal, NY. In his later years he found his niche working in real estate with his loving wife Pat by his side. Mike was a fan of the Bills, Yankees, and Syracuse basketball. When he wasn't cheering on his favorite teams, he enjoyed long car rides to out of the way restaurants or to find somewhere new for his wife to shop. He was an animal lover who gave a home to many canine and feline companions over the years. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Broome County Humane Society in Mike's memory. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at Our lady of Good Counsel Church 701 W. Main St Endicott N.Y. The family will receive friends between 10:00 am and 11:00 am at Our lady of Good Counsel prior to the funeral mass. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
