Obituary of Cecelia M. Kilb

Cecelia Mary Kilb, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. While her family and friends are shocked by her death, they are thankful for her life. Cecelia was a quiet, gentle, soul who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time with loved ones, Peck's Lake camping trips with family, fishing, boating, playing with her nieces and nephews, reading, quiet days at home, and her dog, Napoleon. She was generous beyond compare and would give, and do, for others with a pure and simple heart. Those who knew and loved her simply called her Cece. Cecelia is predeceased by her parents, Sally Manzer and George and Clara Kilb; and her sister, Susanne Kilb. Cecelia is survived by her father, Kenneth J. Manzer Jr., her sister, Becky-Lynn (Mathew) Jackson, her brothers Michael Manzer, Tim (Marge) Kilb, Tom (Laurie) Kilb, and several beloved nieces and nephews. Cecelia was 67 years old. Cecelia was a long-time resident of Apalachin, NY. She graduated from Owego Free Academy and then worked as a shipping clerk at HADCO/ Samina. Cecelia retired after 37 years of service. A private celebration of life memorial service will be scheduled to honor Cecelia's life.
