Bill grew up in the small town of Triangle, always joking that there are only two streets north and south. He graduated from Whitney Point, went into the ARMY then worked at the post office for 33 years before retiring. In 1994 he married his "lady in red" Kathleen, and completed both the families . After retiring he became a regular at Dunkin Donuts where I know he will be missed by the staff and the "coffee crew". Thank you to the staff and the patrons over the years that always left him with a smile. Thank you to the staff at Broome Oncology for your compassion and kindness over the years of treatment. Thank you to the staff at James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong Memorial Hospital for your part in his treatments. Thank you, Endwell Family Physicians for the care you have provided over the years. The family would also like to thank Lourdes Guthrie Hospice for the tremendous help and caring with Bill. At this time the family has decided to have a service at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Mercy House, Hospice or to a cancer foundation of your choice. William will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He always had a joke or a story to tell even through the hard times.
