Obituary of Michael W Arnold

Michael W. Arnold, 70, our beloved brother, uncle, and Papa passed away March 16, 2024 after an extended illness. He was predeceased by his cherished wife Dorothy in 2023, and parents William and June Arnold. He is survived by siblings Marsha (John) Gana, Tom, Dave (Beth), and Joe (Julie). Also survived by step-children Katie (Olin) Wood and Ryan (Amanda) Kinsman and their children, along with nephews Matthew, Justin, Nathan, and Joshua, and numerous cousins. He also leaves behind his little canine companion, Lola. Mike and Dotti spent their last decade together living in Melbourne, Florida where they enjoyed the beaches, warm weather, and special visits from the children and grandchildren. Mike "Arnie" was a very knowledgeable and respected field engineer for Universal Instruments Corporation, having worked there for almost 50 years. He traveled extensively around the US and world, and he told many interesting stories about his experiences. Thank you to all his UIC friends and co-workers who supported him throughout his illness, we know he appreciated it so much. Mike's quick wit, keen sense of humor, and engaging personality will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held in Mike's honor on April 28, 2024 at the Vestal Elks Lodge #2508 from 1-4pm.
