My Deepest Sympathy to Family and Friends. I first met Glenn at BOCES, I think we were 15 or 16. We reconnected many years later and spent hours walking and talking and helping each other through some really rough times, He was the most honest person I have ever met. Always a true friend. A true genius in so many ways. So many wonderful memories have come flooding back.
He is, and always will be, missed.

Kathy,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your partner. Glenn sounds like he was a very special man. You may remember me as Sharon Phipps when we worked together in home care at Ideal in the 90s. I will keep you in my thoughts during the weeks and months ahead. Sharon Holmes Reid

I am directly aware of two of Glenn's patents regarding a lock decoder machine that he invented several years ago. The lock decoder machine was able to automatically determine the combination of a safe using a systematic sequencing method. Glenn and I were able to successfully market this device following applying for and obtaining two patents. Tom Wall, a very experienced patent attorney in Syracuse, New York worked with us to secure the patents. I partnered with Glenn. Glenn developed the machine. I did the marketing, paid Tom Wall's fees as well as fees for the patent applications. We took a risk that the patents would be granted and there would be some commercial value. We ended up received royalties for many years. At one point, Uncle Ron used his plane to fly me, Glenn, and our father to a large company called Diebold in Ohio. We met with the entire management team of the company. I did not know that Glenn was later named on 11 additional patents. Glenn was indeed a technical genius.

"He will be sorely missed by many including the Broome County Birding Community." SO TRUE. I have been missing him all this spring. He spent a lot of time in the field and made some great birding finds over the years. And for almost all of those he also got a picture! He expanded my birding knowledge, and made me question a lot of it at times as well, with his observations and questions for the birds he was finding. But he also liked many other flora and fauna he would come across and we enjoyed discussing those as well. As we sign off frequently in this community and I wish for Glenn..... "Good Birding"......
