Obituary of Mary A. Smith

Endicott – Mary Agnes Smith, 90, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2024. Mary was born February 28, 1934, to parents Thomas and Cecilia Kilpatrick in Forest City, PA. She is survived by her children Gerri Smith, Owego; Tom (Lydia) Smith, Nichols; Patrick (Christine) Smith, Shorewood, IL; and Mary (Steve) Shunk, New Bern, NC; 8 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, daughter-in-law Jeanne Spleen, Valencia, PA; and brother Thomas Kilpatrick, Apalachin. Husband of 67 years, Gerald, and sons Francis and Michael have joyfully reunited with her in heaven. Mary was a member at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Endicott. Mary loved volunteering at her church and spending time with her family. The family would like to thank neighbors and friends Susan, David, Jackie, Michelle, Shawn, Lisa, Marie, Mike, and Wen who have so selflessly helped with everything. We can never thank you enough. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday July 8th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Church Monday prior to the funeral service from 9:30-10:30am. Burial in Forest City, PA will follow the Funeral Service.
