Obituary of Roger M. Cook

Roger M. Cook, 83, of Vestal, went to be with the Lord on Friday June 28, 2024, at Bridgewater Nursing Center. He was predeceased by his parents; William and Pauline Cook, daughter, Michelle Cook Angel, grandson, Micah Angel, his sister, Deloris Beckhorn, brother-in-law Robert Beckhorn, brother-in-law, Ronald Campbell, and sister-in-law, Norma Jean Campbell. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barabara Cook, grandchildren Sage Cook and Ashton Angel, son-in-law, Michael Angel, brothers-in-law Arden Campbell and Robert Franklin, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Roger was a member of Vestal Center United Methodist Church. He was a 25 year employee at IBM, Endicott. He also worked for NYS Highway department and drove school bus for the Vestal School District. He loved NASCAR and working on cars. A funeral service will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St. Vestal, on Wednesday, July 3, at 12 noon with Rev. Eric Jensen officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
