Joseph R. Brofcak

Joe died peacefully at home on August 13, 2024.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lottie and Joseph Brofcak and his daughter Cindy Brofcak Chichelli.

He is survived by his life partner of 38 years, Lorraine Arrow, his children: Vicki (Sam) Gueli, Amy Brofcak Hartz, and Joseph (Kellie Powell) Brofcak. His step sons: Seth (Elizabeth) Arrow and Matthew (Imogen Whist) Arrow. Grandchildren: Jillian, Sammy, Emma, Josh, Aiden, Luca, Hudson and Cooper.

He is also survived by his siblings: Sherry (Guy) Babcock, Debbie (Stu) Kasmarcik, and Randy (Sue) Brofcak. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joe retired after 35 years as a civil engineer with NYSDOT. He loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter, fisherman, and snowmobiler. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and gardening.

In memory of Joe please plant a tree or some colorful flowers.

A celebration of life will be held for Joe on his 78th birthday, Sunday, August 25, from 1pm-4pm at the Conklin Community Center, 956 Conklin Rd, Conklin, NY 13748.
