Karen Manning Robillard passed away on August 19, 2024, in Binghamton, New York after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Richard G. Robillard for 46 years. Born on September 2, 1940, to Edwin and Mary (Lago) Manning, she was a member of the first graduating class of Warwick Veterans Memorial High School and continued her education at Dean College.
Karen's career included roles as a Buyer at Shepard Company in Providence, RI, and later as a Medical Records Manager at The Hospital in Sidney, NY. Above all, she was an amazing wife, sister, mom, stepmom, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She was incredibly wise and down-to-earth and could always be counted on for wonderful conversation and advice. Her kindness, classiness, sense of humor and love for her family were hallmarks of her life.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her loving daughter, Kristine (Walter) Guest; adoring stepchildren, Richard (Aracely) Robillard, Michelle (Richard) Landis, Rochelle Richard, and Todd Robillard; grandchildren, Kathryn, Walter, Jonathan, Jamileth, Alora, Nicole, Nathan, Joshua, and Emily; as well as great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. She was the sister of Anita Manning and mother in-law of the late Brian Richard.
Private services will be held. Karen’s warmth, strength and devotion will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.
