Obituary of Eva M. Johnson

Eva M. Johnson, 86, of Endicott, NY passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2024 at Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

Private funeral services were held at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home and burial was at Floral Park Cemetery in Johnson City, NY.

Eva was born in Horseheads, NY on February 5, 1938 to James Cady and Ada Hazard. Eva enjoyed reading and speaking about Native American lore. She loved coloring books with a native theme and proudly giving the completed works of art to whomever stopped by. She loved flowers and cats and seemed to love the lineage of all the felines in her old neighborhood.

Eve was preceded in death by her parents, James Cady and Ada Hazard; husband George L. Johnson; daughter Alicia; sister Clarissa Cayea; and friend and chauffer, Joe Sirsen.\
