Obituary of Jeffrey R Bennett

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Ryan Bennett, on October 30, 2024. A beloved son, brother, and friend, who left us far too soon. His spirit was as big as his laugh, filling every room he entered with warmth, humor, and an energy that was all his own.

Born on June 16th 1988, Jeff grew up in Little Meadows, PA bringing joy and chaos to his family in equal measure. He was a person of boundless creativity, quick wit, and a knack for finding adventure in the simplest of things. His intelligence was sharp and his humor often surprising, made those around him laugh when they least expected it. For the last 15 years you could find him cracking jokes and cutting meat at the Price Chopper in Endicott.

Jeff had a wild side, a love for breaking the mold. He lived by the saying, "I do what I want." Beneath his vibrant and boisterous exterior was a deeply caring and loyal heart. He was a source of endless love and pride to his family. Whether through his quiet support or a funny accent at just the right moment, he made life lighter for all of us.

Though his time with us was too short, the impact Jeff made in his years was immeasurable. He is survived by his devoted mother, Laurie A. Bennett, his sister, Rachel L. Conklin, niece Hailey N. Conklin. Significant other, Courtney Mancini, best friends Thomas Treadwell, Jesse Morales, Lance Pendergast and countless other friends who were touched by his life.

In honor of Jeff's memory, the family asks that we remember him as he was. Hamburger. Someone who lived fully, loved deeply, and left us with endless stories to tell. In the words of one of his favorite artists, Frank Turner, "In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, Be more kind, my friends. Try to be more kind."

A memorial service will be held Monday November 4th at 2pm at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main Street Endicott. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service time at 2:00 PM.
