Obituary of Argero E. Fusco

Argero "Argie" Fusco passed away peacefully on November 4, 2024, at the age of 96. She was raised in Spring Valley, NY, and lived in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Jackson Heights, Queens before settling in the Southern Tier 34 years ago. She is survived by her sister Rose Chappell, six children Felicia Walsh (Rick), Steve Fusco (Kathy), Carol Thornley, Anthony Fusco (Joanne), Gennaro Fusco (Nancy) and Andrea Fusco (Dan), thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Argie was one of a kind-always seeing the positive, and never having a bad word for anyone. Her passion for bowling was unsurpassed. She had bowled at Midway Lanes in three leagues and participated in countless tournaments for the last 24 years, earning many awards. She savored the comradery there, and made many lasting friendships. She found joy in swimming, diving, knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, playing the organ, and so much more. The family will be having a private celebration of her life. She was a wonderful force of nature and will be sorely missed.
