Terry R. McLain Obituary

Terry R. McLain, 77, of Endicott, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 2, 2024.He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Barbera McLain, his sister Patricia Bostwick, and his wife of 50 years, Susan. He is survived by two sons and 1 daughter-in-law: Christopher, of Williamsburg, VA and Robert (Charlene) McLain of Nicholson, PA; several brothers and sisters-in law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Terry served in the U.S, Army from 1966-1968 as a Power Generation Equipment Repairer. After his Army service, he worked for IBM Corp where he retired after 30 years. Terry was a life member of the West Corners Fire Company, serving as a volunteer firefighter, fire police member, and commissioner for many years. He also participated with several veterans' groups in the area. Terry enjoyed fishing, woodworking, cruising in his red Miata, and various other hobbies. Terry will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, on Tuesday, November 12th at 12 noon. The burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
