Obituary of Gail F Scott

Gail F. Scott, 83, of Endicott, NY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents Emerson and Catherine Fitzgerald of Cleveland, OH, and brother Donald (Peggy) Fitzgerald of Vienna, VA. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, James Scott; her son Donald (Andrea) Scott of Cedar Rapids, IA, and grandsons Eli and Gavin; and her son William (Angela) Scott of Cumming, GA, and grandchildren Olivia and Aidan. Her life was one of loving and caring for her family and friends. She made a point of making cookies for her many friends on their birthdays or wedding anniversaries. Her positive attitude and cheerful, giving spirit will be greatly missed. She always had a jigsaw puzzle in progress. She was a faithful, dedicated member of Central United Methodist Church of Endicott and held many leadership positions there. She served 12 years as Treasurer of the Wyoming Conference of the United Methodist Church. Her education included a BS degree from Ohio University and an MBA from Binghamton University. Expressions of sympathy may be made by donating to the James and Gail Scott Family Scholarship (#21529) at Binghamton University. Per her wishes there will be no formal funeral services. A family celebration of her life will be held on a future date.
