Obituary of Carl Averill Eldridge

Carl Averill Eldridge77 of Maine, NY On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, while surrounded by his loving family, Carl passed peacefully into heaven, after a prolonged illness which he fought bravely. Carl was predeceased by: his Parents, Carl and Gwendolyn Eldridge;. His Two Sons, Chad and Chuck Eldridge; Babygirl Eldridge; Daughter in Law, Tammy Eldridge, and Father and Mother In Law, Ernest and Kathy Estes. Carl is survived by: his loving wife Sharon Eldridge Of Maine, NY, his three sons; Peter and Julie Eldridge Black of Sherburne, NY, Carl II and Leslie Eldridge of Endicott, NY, Andrew Eldridge of Binghamton, NY, and daughter Katrina and Bobby Meservey of Newport, Maine. His sister Linda Stanley of Pittsfield, Maine; his 9 Grandchildren; Brittany Eldridge, Peter Eldridge Jr, Bryanna Eldridge, Dylan Eldridge, Cody Eldridge, Adam Eldridge, Makenzie Eldridge, Kymberlyn Meservey, and Chad Eldridge. Three great grandchildren; Avery, Hannah, and Brinley. His sisters and brother-in-law Victor and Deborah Perry, Daniel and Carol Estes, Stephen and Barbara Estes and many nieces and nephews. Carl was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the 101st Airborne, in the United States Army. He was known for his love of the outdoors and unique sense of humor. He devoted many hours passing on to his sons and grandchildren his love and knowledge of gardening, hunting, and fishing. The love and compassion he had for his family and close friends was unmatched. The family will receive friends and family at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home LLC, 300 East Main Street in Endicott, NY on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 10:30a.m - 12:30 p.m. with services starting at 12:30pm. Interment will follow at Maine Cemetery.
