In Loving Memory of Dave A. Clarke
September 20, 1974 – December 8,2024
It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dave A. Clarke, a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, on December 8, 2024.
Born in Manhattan, New York, on September 20, 1974, Dave lived a life defined by love, humor, and dedication. His approach to life was one of constant betterment, not just for himself but for those around him, as he built meaningful relationships wherever he went.
Dave was an easygoing and humble man who brought joy to everyone he met. His quick wit, unforgettable stories, and warm personality made him the life of every gathering. A natural storyteller, he had a way of making everyone feel at ease and leaving them with a smile.
Dave was the embodiment of dedication and resilience; a man whose tireless spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he met. As a hardworking entrepreneur, he built several successful businesses from the ground up, driven by his passion for excellence and his desire to provide for his family and community.
Every encounter was an opportunity to learn, share, and grow. His network wasn't just a list of names; it was a testament to his genuine care for people and his commitment to constant self-improvement. Dave's journey was marked by vision, grit, and a willingness to embrace challenges.
Above all, Dave was a man of integrity, generosity, and ambition. He believed in lifting others as he climbed and was never too busy to share advice, offer encouragement, or simply listen. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched, and the countless stories of kindness and determination he left behind. He believed in the value of relationships and poured his heart into creating a positive and supportive environment for those around him.
Dave found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was a game of cards, laughter-filled moments with family and friends, or simply enjoying the company of loved ones. His soul was magnetic, his presence bright, and his warmth unmistakable. To many, he was more than a friend—he was a local legend, a "celebrity" for being so well-known and deeply loved by all who crossed his path.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Dave is survived by his loved ones, most importantly, his adored children Enisja, Ashley, Nate, Kyaira, and Harmoni; and his precious grandchildren Aviana, Zyion, and Loyalty. He is also survived by other family and friends who truly meant a great deal to him.
Though his loss is immeasurable, Dave's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He reminded us all to find beauty in the little things, cherish every moment, and create connections that truly matter.
Calling hours will be held on December 20, 2024, starting at 2-5 pm, at Coleman and Daniels in Endicott, NY. Family, friends, and all who were touched by his radiant spirit are welcome to join us in honoring the remarkable man he was.
Rest easy, Dave. Your light will never fade.
