Lois M. Kauczka, age 85, of Endicott, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024. She was born June 23, 1939 in Wilkes Barre, PA. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Frank and Stella Danilowicz, her brother Joseph Danilowicz and her sister Doris Podczasy. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, William Kauczka, her son James Kauczka (Anne), her daughters Lynn Montgomery (John) and Joanne Raczka, and her grandsons Mark Ryan and David Montgomery.

Lois graduated from Wilkes Barre Township High School and began a career in banking before getting married and starting a family. She was devoted to both her family and her church. She sang in the folk group and choir at Our Lady of Good Counsel for over 50 years and worked as a volunteer at Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed going to musical events with her family, vacations at the beach, sewing and gardening.

The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main Street, Endicott, on Friday, December 20, 9-11am, including a prayer service by Chaplin Michael Donovan. Interment will be at Riverhurst Cemetery in Endwell.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be to Mercy House, 212 North McKinley Avenue, Endicott or Tioga County Rural Ministries, 146 Central Avenue, Owego.
