Obituary of Annette R Swan

Ann Marie (Richards) Swan 88 of Vestal NY passed away December 15, 2024. Born November 14, 1936, Ann Marie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Ann began her working career at NY Telephone and retired from IBM after many years working with the evolving telecommunication technologies at the Endicott facility. Ann was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years Roland (Rolly) Swan and her parents John and Ethel Richards, brother Bill (Carolyn) Richards, brothers in law Stewart (Dorothy) Swan, Charles (Sally) Swan, Tom (Juanita) Swan and sister-in-law Nancy. She is survived by her four sons Steve (Kelly), Rick (Mary), Scott (Kim) and Todd (Laurie) along with 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; Sisters Virgina Dix and Sharon Mumma and brothers Mack (Minni) Richards, Kiler (Brenda) Richards; along with many loving nieces and nephews. Ann was a true friend to many and a longtime pianist, Sunday School teacher and mentor at Tracy Creek Memorial church, and attended Fairview Missionary Church in Angola, Indiana as well. She lived a life of grace, kindness, and demonstrated unconditional love to all who met her. Ann will be laid to rest at a private ceremony next to the love of her life at Vestal Hills Cemetery.
