Obituary of Donald I Tillotson

Donald Tillotson, passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 97. Don is survived by Sandra Tillotson his wife of 73 years, and also a son Bill, (Kathy) and their children. He was predeceased by another son Donald. Don worked in accounting at IBM for many years but also fondly recalled earlier jobs including driving bus route 31 in Endicott. Don was a proud Alumni of Broome Community College (1973). He enjoyed trips to Hawaii, the West Coast and several Cruises. He enjoyed coin collecting & learning to golf. He was a member of the Masons and Shiners and was also a West Endicott volunteer fire fighter.

Over the years, Don enjoyed the company of extended family at reunions, holidays and visits with a nephew Earle S. and wife, Juliann Gregory, Sebastian, Florida. He is also survived by a nephew, Mark H. Gregory, Greenfield, Massachusetts. Don was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Endicott and was always glad to visit with a special Deacon.

Calling hours will be at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home LLC, 765 Main Street, Vestal, Friday December 27th from 11am-12pm. A brief memorial service will follow at Noon. Burial will be at Vestal Park Cemetery. Friends & neighbors can send condolences to Ideal Senior Living 601 High Street in Endicott.
