"Mrs. Clink" was a second-grade teacher to many at Clayton Avenue Elementary School in the Vestal School District for over 35 years and lived just a block from "her" school – that she still drove to every day! Janet and Dick traveled often to Myrtle Beach and Florida in their retirement. She will long be remembered for her quick wit, her sense of humor, and the twinkle in her eyes. Janet enjoyed and everyone loved her strawberry jam making, which she shared with her family, friends, and neighbors who all looked forward to getting a jar or two from her every year. She enjoyed puzzles, word searches and playing games on her computer. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up. Janet was a faithful member of the Vestal United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She volunteered her time to help in the church office and for the Sunday school program. The family will receive friends at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main Street, Vestal, NY from 4pm – 6pm on Thursday, 1/23/25, and again at the Vestal United Methodist Church, 328 Main Street, Vestal, NY at 10am on Friday, 1/24/25.
