Obituary of Betty Jean Stanton

Betty Jean (Wilcox) Stanton of Vestal Betty Jean (Wilcox) Stanton, 83, of Vestal, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton. Betty was born on April 21, 1926 and was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Bernard I. Stanton. She is also predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Teresa (Edwards) Wilcox and twin sons, Bradley and Brady. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Allan and Carole Jean Stanton, Schenectady, NY; three grandsons, Michael, Richard and Daniel; a brother and sister-in-law, Elmo and Sally Jo Wilcox, Newberry, FL; several brother and sisters-in law, and several cousins. She was a member of the Round Hill Chapter #104 Order of the Eastern Star and the Vestal United Methodist Church. She retired from the Town of Vestal Tax Office. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends wishing are asked to make donations to the Lourdes Hospice Program, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850. Arrangements are by the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott.
