Obituary of Ada Barrett

Ada "Betty" E. (Cooper) Barrett of Endicott Ada "Betty" E. (Cooper) Barrett, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Flower Lover, and avid Yankee fan, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was predeceased by her parents, A. B. and Virginia Mooneyhan; sister, Mary Barrett and First husband, Richard Cooper. She is survived by her loving husband, David Barrett; two sisters, Ann and husband, Thad Richardson and Sara Mooneyhan; her brother, Buddy and wife, Linda Mooneyhan; brother-in-law, Donald Barrett; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Jack Sandvick, Sandra and Anthony Guarnieri; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Richard and Karen Cooper, Kevin and Peg Cooper; grandchildren, Sara Guarnieri and Jason Kalus,Andrea Guarnieri, Kiersten and Kyle Sandvick and Nicholas Cooper. She was a retired employee of IBM Glendale with 19 years of service. Funeral and interment services will be held Thursday at 5PM from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc, 300 East Main St, Endicott. The Rev. William Prentice, pastor of the Campville United Methodist Church will Officiate. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Thursday from 3 PM until service time at 5PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Campville United Methodist Church, 6110 St. Rt. 17C, Endicott, NY 13760 c/o of the Sign Fund.
