Obituary of Veronica S McKee

Veronica "Ronnie" McKee of Binghamton Veronica "Ronnie" McKee passed from this life onto the next one on Friday May 14, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Ronnie was born January 1, 1924 in Washington, DC to Leonard and Anne Sheppard, and moved to Covington, PA when she was two years old. She moved to Broome county to work at Ansco, where she met her best friend "Eddie" Komatinsky. Ronnie started at IBM Owego in 1960 and retired in 1989. In 2005 she came to live with her best friend, "Eddie" due to health problems, who cared for her until the day of her death. She is survived by Mary Edna Komatinsky, her best friend, and Eddies children who dearly loved Ronnie" Christine (Mack) Stamper, Theresa (Tom) McGuire, Bobby Turner, Mark (Peg) Plamondon, and Eddies grandchildren Jason (Heather) Dunphy, Melissa Turner and Christine Plamondon. Funeral and Interment Services will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc, 765 Main St, Vestal. The Rev. Rex Bell will officiate. Burial will in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Lourdes Hospice 4102 Old Vestal Rd, Vestal, NY 13850.
