Obituary of John S. Dribnak

John Dribnak of Apalachin John Dribnak, 89, of Apalachin, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010, on this special day of honoring all war veterans. John served in the US Army Air Corps in World War II training dogs. He was predeceased by his father, Andrew Dribnak; and mother, Mary Sigler; and brothers, Andrew Dribnak and Rudolph Sigler. John is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret Dribnak; three children, Sharon (Don) Roberts, John (Denise) Dribnak, Mark (Jodi) Dribnak; grandchildren, Shari (Kerry) Miles, Laurie (Corey) Fridinger, Casandra (Kevin) Colburn, Colleen (Kenny) Rosser, Jessica Dribnak, Mary Dribnak; eight great-grandchildren and several close nieces and nephews; and a stepbrother, Robert (Olga) Sigler. John was retired from Ozalid Co. and was a member of American Legion Post 1700, Endicott. John loved spending time with his family and especially his grandkids. The family would like to give thanks to the Susquehanna Nursing Home for all their loving care. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Rex Bell will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
